Asset Farm

Asset Farm is an asset management system featuring integrated application tools.

Asset Farm audits software and hardware components installed on computers over the network. It provides centralized administration for Windows NT/2000/XP operating systems. It integrates functions to manage user groups, user accounts, servers and client authorities. The vendor states that administrators may distribute the agents to clients via a domain controller or manually install them without any configuration at the clients' side.

Asset Farm offers management for clients and servers. Its services communicate with clients using a public key cryptography system. The client's information such as CPU type, serial number, memory card and disk drive will be displayed in the GUI console. The tool will collect your network inventory information, provide the administrator with detailed reports and allow them to export asset details to external storage in report forms such as HTML and XML.

Asset Farm uses an Explorer-style interface for all operations, including right mouse click and pop-up context menus for all objects.
