Conferral / ConferFree

Conferral is a unified PC platform that enables you to Web conference, group collaborate, provide technical assistance, remotely access your PC, and more. With Conferral, you can interactively show and share anything from your PC desktop to anyone else's browser; group revise, in real-time, any document for "once and done" modification; and both control an end-user's PC, or watch an end-user operate their PC, to provide real-time technical support. With PC remote access, you can remotely retrieve important files on your desktop whenever away from your office.

Conferral only requires your participants to have a Web browser. Its capabilities have been merged into familiar Microsoft Office menus and, according to the vendor, can be used by even the least tech-savvy business professionals. Conferral can be purchased once and used forever; or, you can subscribe to Conferral as a monthly service at a fixed price.

Features and capabilities include:

- Web conference with customers to present PowerPoint slides directly from Microsoft Office

- Group collaborate with colleagues to two-way edit, in real-time, both Microsoft Office documents (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc,) and other documents

- Enable an authorized support specialist to remotely operate an end-user's PC, and end users to authorize connections from a specialist

- Send large files or multiple files of any size or any type without having to set-up an FTP server

- Screen share for showing and sharing any PC application

- Retrieve files when away from a desktop PC or corporate file server

In addition to the fully functioning Conferall, the vendor also offers ConferFree (see related link below); which integrates with MS PowerPoint and allows you to show PowerPoint slide presentations online to a Web conference of one or group of attendees. Attendees do not require special software (other than a Web browser), plug-ins, or ConferFree.
